Colorado ProStart understands that students have busy schedules that are sometimes difficult to keep up with. That’s why we’ve gone to great lengths to design a flexible curriculum that includes lab activities and chapters that can be divided up to work in 45-minute class periods or in a block schedule.
The Foundations of Restaurant Management & Culinary Arts curriculum is exceptionally flexible so that educators can implement an effective learning experience in today’s classroom environment. As an educator, you are provided with all the tools you require to ensure that their students receive the very best in instruction, giving these students an advantage over the competition of the real world.
Colorado ProStart provides educators with the most comprehensive curriculum available to ensure the very best support toward their students. Developed by industry and academic leaders, each of the program’s two levels features a blend of culinary arts and management topics to build well-rounded skills for the workplace. Educators and students alike benefit heavily by working as a team toward a common goal.
Flexible Equipment Needs
It is important to us that students are able to implement their work in any classroom setting. There are no equipment requirements. Activities can be conducted in a family and consumer sciences kitchen or an industrial kitchen. This allows their coursework to be completed without unnecessary complications.
Resources for Students & Educators
Supplying an ample amount of resources is critical for the success of each student’s education and future career. ProStart provides resources that include everything from textbooks (print and electronic) and a companion website for students to a teacher’s wraparound edition and assessments for educators.
