In a classroom setting, students are given the tools necessary to master the fundamental culinary and management skills needed for success in the restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality industries. They will also be instructed on employability skills, such as leadership, accountability, teamwork, and responsibility — giving them an edge against any competition that comes their way.
The 2016 recipient of the CRA Richard P. Ayers Distinguished Service Award and 2012 CRF Reaching for the Stars Award. Since 2009, Derek and the Seattle Fish Company continue to support Colorado ProStart Program industry related events and student workforce development training.
